Questions, answered
The short version of everything people ask before trying Rose.
What is Rose?
A stretching app. Rose gives you short guided routines matched to the goals, focus areas and experience level you choose, plus a browsable library of individual stretches, streaks and history to keep the thread going, and two ways to build routines of your own: by hand, or by describing what you need.
Do I need any experience?
No. You pick a level when you set up and routines are matched to it. Every stretch shows a demo and written steps, and most offer an easier variation when you want one.
Do I need equipment or a mat?
No equipment. Most stretches need only you and enough floor to lie down. A mat is comfortable, never required.
How long is a session?
Routines run from a couple of minutes to about half an hour. You choose what fits the day, and a short session counts just as much toward your streak.
Does Rose work offline?
Yes. Routines, artwork and voice guidance ship inside the app, so a session works the same with no connection at all.
Which languages does Rose speak?
Thirty-two, including four written right-to-left. And that's the whole app with localized voiceover, not just the store page.
How much does Rose cost?
Rose is a subscription, monthly or annual. Exact prices are shown in the app and depend on your country and your store.
Do I have to create an account?
Not to use Rose. An account is offered only after you subscribe, so your routines and progress can follow you to a new phone.
How do I cancel?
Through the store you subscribed with. It takes about a minute and there's no one to convince. The exact steps are on the cancellation page.
Is Rose medical advice?
No. Rose is a stretching app, not a medical service, and nothing in it is advice about your health. If a movement hurts, or you're unsure whether stretching is right for you just now, stop and ask a professional you trust.
